Named after the line of fantasy tilesets I'm currently working on named Raven Fantasy, this tileset pack is inspired by some amazing games and artists, which have in mind a warm palette and simple yet beautiful pixel art looks that can match most game themes.

Though that perhaps "there is a lot of cool creatures, but no heroes or humans, or humanoids to be used with" Now we have, enjoy a full pack of designs for characters and/or champions (although you can use it as enemies too if you desire). This pack was originally commissioned by a Patron, but with their permission, it is now available to the public (thanks, rjdunlap!).

This pack has:

  • 15 heroes/enemies for a turn-based RPG that uses the Raven Fantasy Style.
  • The same designs but also with the Time Fantasy Palette, which I did receive permission from its creator, Jason Perry(finalbossblue).

this pack have 4 direct animations at each characters ? This pack 64x64 ?

hey, no, they are only static battlers

I recently bought the whole bundle of battlers from you, but all of the files for them are way too small when I import them in RPGMaker MV. These look really good, is there a way I can use these in RPGMV? I'm newer to this whole thing so the only engine I even remotely understand at the moment is RPGMV :(

Hey thanks for acquiring the asset! I will check the files out as soon as possible :)

Just updated the files, now there is bigger files that can be better used on RPG maker!

Hmm.. I might be doing something wrong then? I redownloaded the link but they're still the same size 64x64 which on paper IS supposed to work.. But when importing them into RPGMV they're so small, (Basically the size of a small stone in game I would say) and stretching them out in photoshop to a bigger size makes them lose their quality by a lot. I'm really lost on how the default asset images in RPGMV range from characters at 161x76 all the way to 511x 437 for dimensions. I also picked up your tileset bundle and that one I had hardly any issues getting to import into RPGMV, I don't know why the battlers are being hard to import properly :/

Unless we are talking about a different pack? The one I got was the "Raven Fantasy Battlers - Full Collection" which had battler set 1-4 with the battler heros set as well. Most of them have the variants of "Time Fantasy" too, with and without outlines.

I'm glad to know that they should work in RPGMakerMV though, was nervous at first that I got something that wasn't compatible with that engine lol, I'm thinking it's probably a step or two that I'm missing here, this is my first pack I've imported lol

Also a bit of a side note, but running into a small issue with animations in the tileset folder. Im sure they do work somehow, but when I place the animated tilesets labeled "!$" (Like for example, a lamp or window) into the character folder like stated in your notes, they DO show up under characters in the event tab, but when i try to place the "event" down, it's clipped off.

So like for example, let's hypothetically say an animated tileset like "!$Wolf" has a total of nine tiles in total, in selecting the event, it shows up full and fine in the image for the event when creating, but when placing it down it just places a clipped tail, or a clipped face of the wolf, not the full thing like it should.

Do you know what I am doing wrong? Hopefully I explained it in a way that makes sense which is a little tough to explain through text, but not sure if video/images are allowed to be posted in comments. The other tilesets are mostly working great though, Thanks!

Hello! This is the battler hero page lmao, but let me try to help you. When you say it looks clipped or cut you mean in the engine? Did you tried to play test it to see in-game?

I can't for the life of me recreate what was happening those weeks back with the event images, not sure why they were acting like that then but they have been working totally fine now since I've gotten back to try it out, must've just been some weird glitch I was running into on my end that's gone now lol

Hello, did you downloaded it again? It should now have a RPG Maker folder inside, all files were scaled up to like 300pixels.

Okay so I've finally got some free time to hop on RPGMaker and try this all out!

I have redownloaded all of the battler packs again, and while I do see the "Battler Heros" (The one we are having this conversation in) pack has been updated, the others have not.  I am referring to "Raven Fantasy 2D PixelArt Battler Set" 1-4, it's the one that has all sorts of monsters, which was included in the bundle pack along with the "Battler Heros" pack. It's the ones that also have the Time Fantasy variations in the file folders. All of those ones are too small as well, so while the Battler Heros set is updated and looks great, the other Battler Sets (That all are monster based) are still too small and haven't been updated from when I went to download them again.

I tried stretching them out in PS but they look terribly warped and blurry, which doesn't showcase how good and detailed your work is! :( If you could do the same updates to those battler sets 1-4 that you did with this battler hero set it would work perfectly!

Hey! I will take a look into this when I have a bit of time but to resize art on PS you just need to select "nearest neighbor" first at the box in the tool bar. When you select something to resize you will see the option.
